Home, Sweet, Home

Now that our trip is over and our memories are being permanently stored in our minds, I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for making it all possible.  First and foremost, thank you to all the parents who worked so hard all year to raise the money needed for the trip.  I recognize that that is no small task and the fact that you made it happen shows how invested you were in this experience for your child.   I also want to thank Dan Goldstein for both being a chaperone and for keeping the blog going so that everyone at home could enjoy the trip with us.  Thanks also to Paula Harrison, Missy Finn, Melissa Koncz, Brenda Smith, and Tammie Powers for chaperoning and keeping the experience so positive for our students.  Finally, thank you to the 16 sixth graders who went on the trip, opened themselves up to new experiences and learning, and represented their families, their school, and their town with excellent behavior and respect in an unfamiliar place.   May the memories of this trip stay with you all!
